A small-bore target rifle club on Wingrove Street, shooting 20 metre prone and benchrest on an indoor range since 1915. Newcomers welcome from 6pm but bookings are essential.
When we shoot
Club night is Tuesday. Guests and visitors from 6pm to 7pm, members from 7pm to 10pm. The range is indoors, so we shoot year-round whatever Melbourne is doing outside.
Visiting for the first time? Bookings are essential — please get in touch before you come, so we can have a rifle, a coach and a lane ready for you. Please don’t just turn up on the night.

We are affiliated with Target Rifle Victoria and compete in both club and state competition.

Win a pennant at Fairfield and your flag joins a wall that already remembers a great deal: champions’ boards that begin in 1946, and silver shields won while sixteen of our members were away at the Great War.
Never fired a rifle before?
Good — that is exactly who the guest hour is for. Target shooting is precise, quiet and surprisingly absorbing, it suits all ages, and you need nothing of your own to start: we have rifles, coaching and a range officer on hand.
